47 Haul Away

Welcome to 47 Haul Away – a truly one-of-a-kind Lowcountry retreat in the heart of Palmetto Dunes. Unlike many large vacation rentals designed simply to sleep more guests, this home was intentionally designed as a private residence where every square foot serves a purpose. Every sightline, architectural detail, and gathering space was meticulously planned around how people actually live, entertain, and relax together. You'll feel the difference from the moment you walk through the front door.

From the soaring timber trusses and dramatic wall of glass in the great room to the seamless connection between the chef's kitchen, butler's pantry, and resort-style outdoor living, every detail works together to make time with family and friends feel effortless.

At the center of the home, the great room sets the tone with soaring timber trusses, a striking stone fireplace, and integrated ceiling speakers that create an ambiance perfect for lingering mornings and easy evenings together. Just beyond, the chef's kitchen becomes the natural hub of the day — breakfast before the beach, lunch between golf rounds, and late-night conversations all seem to gather around the oversized island. The adjacent round dining area keeps that same sense of connection for more formal meals, while an exceptional butler's pantry — complete with a second fridge, wine fridge, sink, dishwasher, and coffee station — lets multiple families cook and entertain without ever feeling crowded.

Step through the wall of glass and the outdoor living space feels like a true extension of the home. The elevated pool, spa, and covered outdoor bar with a built-in grill, fridge, and TV sit on the same level as the main living areas, so guests can move effortlessly between the kitchen and the patio. A poolside half bath and outdoor shower make it easy to spend the entire day outside — whether kids are in the pool, golfers are unwinding in the spa, or friends are gathered around the bar with the game on and dinner off the grill, all against an ever-changing Lowcountry fairway backdrop.

A separate gathering room built around an 85-inch TV connects to the main living space through an oversized sliding door — open it up for movie nights and game days, or close it off for a more intimate escape. An elevator makes arrivals with luggage, groceries, and golf clubs refreshingly simple, and a private study with high-speed Wi-Fi and a printer offers a comfortable workspace for whenever a little work has to sneak into vacation.

Each of the four bedroom suites is its own private retreat, with a beautifully appointed bathroom, Smart TV, and thoughtful finishes designed for real rest. The two primary suites go a step further — one opens directly to the patio, the other connects to the gathering room — both featuring luxurious bathrooms with heated floors and exceptional detail.
Perfectly positioned in the heart of Palmetto Dunes, 47 Haul Away puts the best of Hilton Head just moments away: celebrated beaches, championship golf, the Palmetto Dunes Tennis & Pickleball Center, scenic bike paths, and Shelter Cove's waterfront dining and entertainment.

From the moment you book until the day you reluctantly head home, our goal is simple — to make your stay as effortless and memorable as the home itself. Professionally maintained and supported by a responsive local team, 47 Haul Away offers the peace of mind to focus on what matters most: the people you came to enjoy it with.
